Our goal at Explore Himalayas (EH ) is to "Promote Personal Growth in Young People through Outdoor Adventure Experiences". We believe in the power of adventure to enrich and guide young lives.

It is our task to make that experience happen in constructive and exciting ways. We provide the location, equipment and supervision. The learning happens experientially - students learn by doing.

Our programs are about self-confidence, teamwork, communication, diversity, establishing goals and working towards them. They are designed to give young people the chance to find excitement and discovery in their lives.

We emphasize respect, leadership, individual responsibility and group interaction. Our instructors don't lead, they assist in teaching fundamentals, laying out options and sharing their experiences.

In the peace of the outdoors, away from the distraction of school, computers and TVs, our students experience more sharply the results of their own actions.
